Volcano Type [Lars Harmsen]
 Magma Brand Design in Karlsruhe, Germany evolved in 2004 into Volcano Type. Magma is headed by Lars Harmsen (b. Hannover, 1964) and Ulrich Weiss. Lars Harmsen spent the first four years of his life in Chicago. He then moved to Geneva with his parents for eight years, and then moved to Karlsruhe. He completed his schooling at the French section at the European School. He first studied history and Germanics in Freiburg before beginning to study design at Basel, Boston, Saarbrücken and Pforzheim. He got his degree in graphic design, and in 1996 he founded MAGMA [Büro für Gestaltung] together with Ulrich Weiß. He is the co-founder of STARSHOT GmbH, a design company for sports products, now based in Munich. MAGMA created Type Foundry Volcano-Type.de and the internet forum Slanted.de.  Amiga + Amiga Rounded [2 OTF] Original Font of the Commodore Amiga 500. Who doesn´t know the Amiga 500? the legitimate sucessor of the legendary Commodore 64. It came on the Market in March 1987 and became the best gaming computer. At the time, the price of the machine was nearly 1000 Deutsch Marks. The Amiga 500 also lead the way against its competitor, the Atari ST which was not as good in the Graphics and sound areas. But, because of badly edited sucessors, and poor marketing from Commodore, the machine didn´t last on the computer shop´s shelves. The rest is well known; the owner of Amiga changed and the name is now achieving new honours again.

Volcano Type
 Arsen Regular + Arsen Ink + Arsen Blackground [3 OTF] »Arsen« is a font with forms that are derived from old enamel show cards of the pre-computer-era. The hint of industrial landscapes is an reminiscent of a bygone era. The name is following old factories. Behind the threatening surface hides a clever system of levels that eclipses the background. Circled by the outline the interiors exist as an own form and can get their own colour, so the poisonous letters can be printed two-coloured.

 Aneira + Aneira Dingbats [2 OTF] Aneira is a filigree, clearly structured typeface, captured in a grid and all the same exhilarated because of the irregulariity of the baseline. A typeface following the rules of nature, based on the complexity of snow cristals – that's why its name Aneira means “snow” translated from the Welsh language.

 Copy [9 OTF] !!!these font is a pdf rip without kerning!!! http://www.typeforyou.org/2006/12/28...ary-grotesque/ Initially, COPY was developed as a corporate font-family for the graphic book project ”Bastard“. The contents of this book combine literature, photography, illustration, sound, and typography and explore global cultural bastarding. Additionally a whole set of new experimental typedesigns from designers around the world have been presented with this publication. The main challenge to Thomas Mettendorf, the designer of COPY, was to distinguish from the experimental content of ”Bastard“ and simultaneously build a bridge to it. COPY, as the body type is simply called, has a sober and modern appearance that works as a typeface for information design. Its shapes are a result of text-typographical and formal considerations. For example inktraps have been avoided or the contrast has been kept very low. (These formal features take into consideration that printing quality nowadays is much better so there is not such a need to recompense for this. In return many typefaces look strange when set in a display size because of their compensations.) COPY CUT is a variation of COPY with slightly deconstructed shapes which has been cut to give several characters more significance. As a single character the ”y“ of COPY CUT has been replaced by an alternate design. COPY SEMIGROTESK is a variation which fuses and mixes different stylistic features such as grotesque, serif and monospace characteristics. A real ”bastard“ that also works very well as a typeface for bodytext. Its ”monospace“ appearance makes it a very legible choice because of the – even minimized – serifs. For marking text, all font variations have been worked out in the weights italic and bold. The italics have a strong 14° angle and are optically adjusted obliques. As a single character the ”a“ was replaced by an alternative design, using a shape of the italic repertoire. The bold weights were designed by continuing the contrast of the regular weights and keeping it ”as low as possible“. However besides the bold and italic weights the grotesque and semigrotesque variations of COPY can also be applied in a functional combination. These features make COPY an interesting choice for contemporary design. The whole or individual weights of COPY are available at Myfonts. COPY has been originally released by Volcano Type a foundry based in Karlsruhe, Germany.

 Dos De Tres [1 OTF] - !!!these font is a pdf rip without kerning!!! Font inspired by the masks of the wrestlers(la lucha libre) of the years 70s of Mexico. Graphically they had a lot of power and was the only image of the character. All that has a value that I represent,illustrated and reunited in a type.
 Die Fette Hubbuch [1 OTF] !!!these font is a pdf rip without kerning!!! »Die Fette Hubbuch« is a contemporary blackletter typeface, based on a geometric grid. Contrary to the most classical blackletter typefaces, this typeface got no curves. Those individual letter forms were created by using only 45°-angles.
 Danke Kurt [3 OTF] !!!these font is a pdf rip without kerning!!! »Danke Kurt« is a small fontfamily based on a scetch of the Bauhaus student Kurt Kranz (1930/1931). You get the best results by layering the both cuts – horizontal and vertical - when you »multiply« or use similar effects. The monochrome cut is a combination of both cuts.

 Cypheral [1 OTF] !!!these font is a pdf rip without kerning!!! A type between letter and number. Cypherals' fresh typeface is a mix-up of numberparts and lines that reveal to be letters. So who is to say that numbers and letters don´t have much in common?

 Domstadt [1 OTF] !!!these font is a pdf rip without kerning!!! A blackletter type, strongly geometric, mainly used for magazines and headlines. Also readable in smaller sizes e. g. for lyrics of the next heavy metal cd.

 Diamond [3 OTF] The DIAMOND Font was realised for the VOLCANO TYPE collection by « Magma Büro für Gestaltung » firm in 2004, in collaboration with Lars Harmsen and Boris Kahl.  Deadman Regular [3 OTF] The organic and extraordinary hand-made style of ''Deadman'' recalls very strongly the work of british Illustrator Ralph Steadman, who was friend for many years to the american author and journalist hunter S. Thompson. Steadman´s drawings, illustrated a lot of his work, and amongst other things , the world famous '' Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas''. All „Deadman“ letters where drawn with a foutain pen. the best Characters from hundred of versions where chosen and later digitalised on a computer. The result is a very rich and varied letter-family, that is even more effective with the two additional fonts ''Blotting'' and ''Squirting''. Der organische und handgemachte Stil der "DEADman" erinnert an die Arbeiten des britischen Illustrators Ralph Steadman, der viele Jahre mit dem amerikanischen Journalisten und Schriftsteller Hunter S. Thompson befreundet war. Steadmans Illustrationen bebilderten viele seiner Arbeiten, unter anderem auch das weltbekannte Buch "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas". The pattern substitutes the outline and gives her a new character, less classic and formal. Scratch makes classic attractiv for a new use.  Bikini [1 x OTF] Bikini is a display-font that offers designers a variety of opportunities to create a lively and sophisticated typography. The font contains swash-capitals and roman capitals as well as two different forms of lowercase letters for endless combinations. Furthermore, a set of more than 60 ligatures is included. Bikini gets its charme by mixing up constructivist and handmade origination concepts. Although the letters show partially very expressive and overhanging details, the creation is strictly based on a matrix of circles and arcs (see drawing). In spite of its static and geometric basic elements Loreley seems to come to live and to break the rules of the grid, thus it looks somewhat psychodelic.
