Typographic requests for English speaking users [5+ useful posts needed for request]

Search and request for a font – «Typography Requests ( for englishspeaking users)», responding in the same branch.
Before you ask for help, please try to help yourself by searching the forum.
If search does not help you, leave your request but correctly make it:
Specify the name of the font (or family) which you are looking for. Try to specify manufacturer(designer/distributor etc.) of the fonts.
Possible to find the details about manufacturer at the Myfonts, Fontshop etc. Before you ask "give russian!" refine to products by the cyrillic support.

I have taken great effort to update various families (including the elusive Gotham Condensed Italics)... (still searching for updated version of Mercury Text & Display, Requiem, and Hoefler Text)...

BTW... I have more to share... but there is no method to start a new post... I can only reply to other posts... and this "hiding" links determinate upon how many post you've made if a bit immature... that is just ego... would love to share what I have freely... no ego... (the reason I write this, I've just spent 30 minutes trying to contribute the hard to find RBNo3.1 without a way to start a new thread... here it is:

Interesting... admins in fact edited my post to HIDE the links (requiring 5 posts... and I only have 2... so I can't even see the links to my own contributions !!!!!!!!!!!! Isn't this hiding nonsense just a bit outdated ???

Sorry... but the logic escapes me... I contribute often to fonts101 (khaosdark) and typoblur2 (khaosliberation)... and it is SOOOOOO much easier to contribute there... yes, there are a lot of leechers, but there are a lot of contributors as well... to get good stuff, you have to tolerate the inefficient... I've been monitoring several forums... and this and bestfilez.net has so few contributions on a daily level... much more activity on forums where the RULES are more relaxed... what is the REAL objective? To exchange, or protect?

Sorry... but, again, the logic escapes me... the previous poster on the topic of HFJ simply provided a link to a site which is (a) several years old, and (b) everybody and their cousin has plundered... at least I have tried to assemble updated families where possible... I don't see how the quality of this site is any better than any other site... and, as another example, I haven't seen RBNo3.1 on this forum... but it is on the others... how is this forum better?

Aww drkhaos, you beat me to it! I meant to post it a dew days ago but life intervened & I couldn't get to it.

But as to your other question, my guess is RBNo3.1 has been in the private font forum. I suspect many of the other most sought after typefaces are too. I understand your points, they are valid, but I also think there needs to be some checks & balances in place to protect from web search discovery. Hence the hide tags and in some cases, for the more popular (or newer fonts), a post count quotient that must be hit before being allowed to download.

I know of the other forums you mentioned and agree, the atmosphere is much more relaxed and friendly. But the organization and dedication to the typefaces here at nowa, is IMO, outstanding.

I'm not trying to argue with you, as I said your points are well taken. I'm only expressing my take on this discussion. I'm still fairly new here and learning my own way around. But I think if you give it a chance, you will come to enjoy it more. At least I hope you do.

RBNo3.1 has been posted here by Lukovka. Commercial fonts, or Коммерческие шрифты, are posted by foundries (sometimes by designers) here in Nowa for easier and more efficient management.

If links are dead, you could always provide mirrors or ask for someone to reupload in this thread.

It took me a few tries with various fonts to figure that out, lol. I knew some fonts had to be here but until I tried the designer's name, it didn't always appear in my search. Maybe it's because some of these designers move around or foundry names change?

But overall, I do think the Commercial fonts are very well organized. It's quite impressive & I don't envy the amount of work it took assembling all of it.
