С sql.sql лучше бы убрать:

DEFAULT CHARSET=utf8;

А то могут после инсталляции быть знаки вопроса вместо текста....

Да и смарти слижком тяжелый для такого простенького кода. Лучне написать свой, на основе того же смарти убрав все лишнее...
