Jessica Hische was born in Charleston, SC, in 1984. She is a Brooklyn-based hand-letterer and illustrator, who has worked for clients such as Tiffany&Co., Victoria's Secret, American Express, Target, The New York Times, The Boston Globe, Chronicle Books, Random House, and Penguin Books. Blog. She created various calligraphic and hand-lettered scripts such as Valentine Script (2009), Buttermilk (2009, a calligraphic connected script) and New York Times Buzzwords (2009).
