I am new to this forum.

I was hoping that someone might have access to the new PTF versions of the Le Monde family of fonts, especially Le Monde Livre (Porchez).

I just noticed that there are two versions of Swift that are shared here. The first is Swift 2.0 (a cyrillic version it seems), and the second is called NuSwift (latin only).

Can someone tell me what the difference between those font versions might be, and which one of them is the real Swift 2.0?

From what I have read, NuSwift is a corporate font based on Swift 2.0 but was never officially released to the public, and Neue Swift is an upgrade of Swift 2.0.

Only a comment about the last post, both Primal Scream and Designer Genes are not original or converted from originals, they are made from snapshots in myfonts.com of these fonts (I know that, because I made them)
The important thing here is they lack several important features (kerning, for example). And the final product is so-so.

On the site www.sanskritweb.net (see franzis.pdf (http://www.sanskritweb.net/forgers/franzis.pdf) and megafont.pdf (http://www.sanskritweb.net/forgers/megafont.pdf)) I have read that the fonts "Z690 Blackletter" by Softmaker (Megafont) and "Zen" by Franzis are clones of Berthold's Zentenar.

In this file, the Zentenar BQ font is embedded: http://odaddyo.com/typography/type_class/Blackletter.pdf
Unfortunately, only the letters B, E, g, h, n are included.

I even found the "Zen" typeface, and compared with the few Zentenar BQ glyphs I have, and it is different. I think the Zen typeface has some distorted curves because they simplified the curves automatically.

Steffmann's version is not identical, too.

Maybe the font "Z690 Blackletter" is an exact clone, so I would be happy if some one could provide me a copy of this!

There are many versions of Avant Garde Gothic, here are a few:

ITC Avant Garde Gothic by Adobe – only Western 2 character set

ITC Avant Garde Gothic by ParaType – this is a multilingual version with cyrillic character support

ITC Avant Garde Gothic Pro – original version by ITC with built-in additional cap and lowercase alternates, extra glyphs and new ligatures

ITC Avant Garde Gothic and Alternates by Elsner+Flake – almost the same as Pro, but with a smaller selection of alternates and ligatures, and they are stored in a separate font, but comparing to Pro this version contains optically corrected italics

The Avant Garde Gothic C is referred to cyrillic character support, so I think it’s the ParaType version that you are looking for.
