Stereotypes is Sascha Timplan, a German type and graphic designer from Trier, b. 1979, who is currently a student in Communication Design at FH Trier.

He created St Substance (2009), St Booka Shade (2009, purely geometric), ST Moviehead, an ultra-condensed family (2009, Dafont), St. Atmosphere (2009, fat, rounded), St Transmission (2009, free), St Shadowplay (2009), St-Lorie (2009, connected upright script), St Notorious (2009, after the titling fontr in Hitchcock's Notorious---a beautiful high-legged serif face), St Technique (2009), St Atmos (2009, a commercial ink trap plaything), St Mika (2009) and Apfelstücke (2009, a hookish face).

St Marie (2010) is a nice free typewriter typeface [well, the family as a whole is not free of course]. St Ryde (2010) and Fridge (2010) are casual sans families. St Frika and Friska followed later in 2010.

Elsa (2011) is a sans family. Villa Didot (2011) was created for the posters of the club villaWuller. It is a great set for overlays with an engraved look. VillaWuller also influenced the swashy poster family Florence (2012). In the industrial sans category, we have to place St Transmission (2012).
